Cooperative.Space is about building the agentic fabric to amplify human intent and cooperative intelligence.

For decades, we optimized for the "Islands": Specialized departments, efficient teams, clear handoffs. Strategy handed targets to Business, and Business handed requirements to Engineering—sparse islands of alignment shaped by the economics of human communication.

This worked in a stable world. It is fatal in the dynamic complexity of the unfolding polycrisis.

Today, these boundary walls create a Crisis of Context. Strategy is disconnected from execution. Engineering is starved of the "Why". And AI Agents, deployed into this fragmented system, scale the noise rather than the value.

Cooperative.Space is the engine room for a new operating system. We are moving beyond "Process Management" to "Cooperation Architecture".

The mission is to build a semantic infrastructure that transforms "Command & Control" into "Alignment & Ownership".

Dr. Bernd Schönwälder brings a unique synthesis of strategic leadership and expertise in Information Theory, Psychology, and Engineering to the challenge of organizational architecture.

In 15 years on the Management and Executive Board at Unite, Europe's B2B Platform, he has been a driving force in building the company into a market network of systemic relevance. This forged his expertise in the tension between human-driven value chains and digital scale—a perspective he also contributes to the federal discourse as a member of the BDI/BDA Committee on Innovation and Technology Policy.

His earlier work on building AI-driven algorithmic trading systems made him recognize the trajectory toward an 'Automation Endgame', where efficiency decouples from intent. This shapes his current mission: To design a Cooperative Fabric where AI amplifies human cooperation rather than replacing it, ensuring that our tools serve our human needs.
